After a month of hiatus, I am back
making miniature again. My apologies and also feel guilty for not posting or
working on any miniature during this festive season. Chinese New Year is round
the corner too, so I will be busy with the preparation for this festive.
Hopefully, I can be more active after February.
In this New Year, I have created a new
branding identity, template and MonPuchiKissa blog web banner.
As for miniature, these are what I
have done. After a long break, I realised that my
skill for making miniature became rusty TT.TT

Cherry Pie
The base of the cherry pie was a recycled bottle cap. I
think the sauce should be in a darker red.
7-8 January 2013
Tomato Tart
On the 7th of January, I done my first attempt of the tomato tart but I
added too much translucent clay to the tomato seeds and pine nuts. The seeds were hardly seen after baked. I did
not take any photo of it. On the next day, I tried to reduce the portion of the
translucent clay and they finally turned out well.

Cranberry Cake
I was amazed when I saw a photograph of real cranberry
cake in internet. I told myself I would be doing this next for
miniature. The cranberries for the top were dust with fake sugar and chalk pastel.

Raspberry Bundt Cake
I am still very weak at using liquid clay for icing. The
portion for the liquid clay and white clay is not right. They turned out too translucent and watery
after baked. I intend to do it again next week if I have time.
